 AUSTRALIAN BUZZ BAND GUNS FOR GLORY INKS DEAL WITH INDEPENDENT LABEL STANDBY RECORDS

FIRST US RELEASE TO HIT SPRING 2009

Hailing from Sydney-Guns for Glory is ready to make their mark in the US, already deemed ‘one of Australia’s most promising alternative bands’.  The act recently inked a North American deal with independent label Standby Records for an early second quarter release and a full US tour to follow.



The bands debut CD "Love, Lust and Loneliness" is in the mist of production with Aria Award winning producers Anton Hagop (Silverchair, Sick Puppies), Shane "Buddha" Edwards (Cog) and Dave Petrovic and streets Spring 2009.



Guns for Glory is:

AJ Dyce - vox/keys

Anthony Chmiel - guitar

Vin Dawgy - bass

Andrew Gill - guitar

Chung – drums



After criss-crossing their homeland of Australia many times and creating a nation buzz Guns for Glory is geared up and ready to make their mark on the states, already having toured with the likes of The Used, MXPX, Rise Against and Aiden. As well as garnered over a million plays on myspace (www.myspace.com/gunsforglory), the band is revitalized, road-ready and eager to get the party started.

    ohmigosh guns for glory are rocktasticularly awesome!! Im so glad you signed them up!! they are great, would love to see them become massively ridiculously massive. They deserve it all..They really are a great band with a tight sound. much love, Lori

    this is the best thing to happen to this band. cant wait to see where stand by records can take guns for glory. they have amazing talent. now they have a label nothing s stopping them. its great to see one of my favourite local bands making a mark in the us market. everyone should keep an eye out for these guys cause i expect they will do great things :)

    Just Checked This band out now. They sound uneblievably good. They are going to get big and hopefully standby can help this happen along the way. love the label too. Josh
